Higher Feed in Tariffs will not come into effect on time

The government's plans of increasing the Feed in tariff (FIT) which was supposed to come into effect on 1st August 2011 has not come into effect.  The increase in FITs has not happened as EU state approval has not yet been granted.  It is thought that approval will be granted within the next month but payments will not be back dated.
