Scottish Organic Producers Association (SOPA) is a cooperative, established in June 1988 covering, by some considerable way, the largest number of organic producers in Scotland.
SOPA was established to provide a focus for the organic food producers across Scotland, and is committed to the long term growth of a viable organic industry infrastructure linking, producers, processors and retailers in the interest of the consumer.
SOPA’s organic certification is delivered on behalf of its members by SFQC. SOPA organic certification, through SFQC is accredited to ISO Guide 65 (EN45011).
