haggis

This is the world's biggest prepared haggis (confirmation from Guiness World Records has been received) weighing in at 560 kg (1234.576 lbs) made by the management and staff at McKechnie Jess.  This haggis is 7ft long, 3ft wide and 1ft 9in high with a circumference of 6ft!  9 ox stomachs were used in the making of this along with the traditional ingredients of liver, lamb offal, water, oatmeal, beef suet, onion, salt and spices.  This had to be prepared and cooked to apply for the world record.  Well done to the staff at McKechnie Jess on this monumental achievement!
