SFQC is a leading UK certification company specialising in the inspection and certification of food production, processing and service. It is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual/s to carry out UFAS, TASCC and FIAS scheme assessments.The UFAS work will be based predominantly in Scotland and Northern England and involve auditing UFAS registered animal feed manufacturers.
The TASCC and FIAS work will be based predominantly in Scotland and will include auditing TASCC registered haulage, storage, laboratory and merchant members and fertiliser hauliers, stores and merchants respectively.
The successful applicant/s will have relevant commercial/technical experience within the agricultural supply sector preferably in a role associated with haulage/storage of grain (TASCC) and/or feed manufacture (UFAS); and a good understanding of current feed industry issues, legislation and food safety issues. A working understanding of quality systems and experience in an inspection role would be preferable.
ISO 9000 Lead Auditor and approved HACCP qualifications are also required for this position. Good written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
