To become a member:


Upon contact with SQWV, a membership information pack including scheme standards and application form will be forwarded to you for completion and return, together with your subscription payment. Your subscription will be calculated according to the total number of carcases sold per year, as per the table below:

2011 Producer Membership Fees

Carcases sold per year:

  • 0001 - 0025                           £50 + VAT = £60
  • 0026 - 0050                           £75 + VAT = £90.00
  • 0051 - 0100                           £100 + VAT = £120.00
  • 0101 - 0200                           £242 + VAT = £290.40
  • 0201 - 0500                           £289 + VAT = £346.00
  • 0500 - 1000                           £340 + VAT = £408.00
  • 1001+                                   £371 + VAT = £445.20

2011 Processors Fees:

An annual fee of £130 + VAT= £156 plus 2 inspections per year @ £370 + VAT= £444.00 per inspection.  The Annual fee + first inspection fee are due on application = £500.00 + VAT

A new applicant can have a pre assessment for a fee of £60, which will be deducted from the first years membership fee on joining the scheme.

Membership is renewable on an annual basis. Renewal notices will be issued in April annually with any new applications received January- March not being invoiced again until the following April e.g. any applications received between Jan. – March 2011 will pay to join the scheme on application but won’t receive another invoice until early April 2012.
